Turnkey tile laying — we handle material and installation

We lay wall and floor tiles in bathrooms, kitchens, on terraces and in commercial spaces. We take on the whole package: material selection and procurement, substrate preparation, waterproofing, laying, grouting, silicone and cleaning. We work in new builds and renovations across Štajerska.

01 — What turnkey laying includes

What turnkey laying includes

Tiles last only as long as the substrate beneath them is sound. So the work is more than gluing tiles: we inspect and prepare the substrate, level it where needed (self-levelling compound, deviation under 2 mm over a 2 m straightedge) and, in wet rooms, waterproof it (liquid membrane and sealing tapes in corners and at transitions). We lay with a suitable flexible adhesive (class C2TE S1 for large formats and heated floors), with spacers and a levelling system for an even joint and a flat surface. Then grouting (cement or epoxy), elastic movement joints and silicone at moving connections.

02 — Where we lay

Where we lay

  • 01Bathrooms and showers — walls and floors, with waterproofing
  • 02Kitchens — floors and wall coverings (backsplash)
  • 03Terraces and balconies — frost-proof tiles, falls and drains
  • 04Stairs and landings — edge profiles, slip rating
  • 05Commercial spaces, corridors, entrances — large formats, heavy traffic
  • 06New builds — from a prepared screed to handover
03 — Advantages

Advantages

One contractor

Material and installation from one source — one contact, one quote, one deadline.

A proper substrate

Levelling and preparation = flat tiles without hollow spots and joint cracks.

Proper waterproofing

Waterproofing under the tiles in the bathroom — water never reaches the structure.

Large formats

Experience with large-format tiles and porcelain (preparation, adhesive, levelling).

Movement joints

Correctly placed movement joints and elastic connections — less risk of cracking.

A tidy site

Site cleared every working day, old material removed.

04 — Look and finish

Look and finish

We agree the format (from mosaic to large slabs), colour and joint width, and the laying pattern (straight, offset, herringbone, diagonal) with you. The joint can be cement (a wide colour range) or epoxy (waterproof, chemically resistant — recommended for showers and kitchen backsplashes). We advise honestly which format and joint are sensible and durable for your space.

06 — Honestly — what we flag up front

Honestly — what we flag up front

The substrate must be sound, dry and stable; fresh screed needs time to cure, otherwise joint cracks can appear. Large-format slabs require a very flat substrate and full back-buttering — this makes preparation more expensive, but it is necessary. Natural stone has its own procedure (sensitive to moisture and staining). If the substrate or conditions are not right, we tell you up front and propose a solution.

07 — Frequent questions

Frequent questions

How long does a bathroom take?

For a 6–10 m² bathroom usually 6–10 working days, depending on masonry work, waterproofing and tile format.

Do you handle the material?

Yes, we take on selection and procurement — tiles, adhesives, grout and profiles.

Do you lay large formats?

Yes. Large formats and porcelain require a flat substrate, the right adhesive and a levelling system — we do this regularly.

Do you lay over old tiles?

In certain cases yes, on a sound, prepared substrate; otherwise we remove the old covering and arrange disposal.

Do you work across Štajerska?

Yes — Maribor, Ptuj, Slovenska Bistrica, Ruše, Lenart, Slovenske Konjice and the surrounding area.
